Data Deletion

This page explains how to remove data we hold about you, including data obtained through third-party integrations such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Threads. If you connected a social account to Video to Reels, you can disconnect it and request full deletion of the data associated with it at any time. The data controller is HEALING CARE S.R.L. (Romania).

1. What We Store
When you connect a social account, we store:
- OAuth access and refresh tokens, encrypted at rest (AWS KMS)
- Your platform user/page/channel ID and display name
- Posts you schedule and publish through VideoToReels, including media references
- Post analytics snapshots (views, likes, comments, impressions) pulled via each platform’s API
2. Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)
2.1 Remove a single connected channel
Sign in at videotoreels.com, go to Account → Integrations, and click “Disconnect” next to the channel. This revokes the OAuth tokens, deletes stored tokens and IDs, and stops any future analytics collection for that channel.
2.2 Delete your entire VideoToReels account
Go to Account → Privacy and choose “Delete account.” This triggers a full GDPR erasure: projects, media, scheduled posts, social connections, analytics, and your user profile are removed from our databases. Encrypted audit logs are retained for 30 days for compliance and then deleted.
3. Remove Access on the Platform Side
You can also revoke VideoToReels’s access directly from the social platform:
- Facebook / Instagram: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → remove “VideoToReels”
- YouTube (Google): myaccount.google.com/permissions → remove “VideoToReels”
- TikTok: Settings → Security & Login → Manage Connected Apps
- X (Twitter): Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps
- LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services
- Pinterest: Settings → Privacy and data → Apps you’ve authorized
Revoking on the platform invalidates the tokens we hold. We recommend also using the self-service option above so we remove the stored IDs and analytics from our systems.
4. Email Request
If you can’t access your account (e.g., you’ve lost access to the email used for signup), send a deletion request to support@videotoreels.com from the email tied to the account, or include enough information for us to verify ownership (e.g., the social handle you connected and its platform).
We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17.
5. What Is Retained After Deletion
After deletion we do not retain your personal data, with these narrow exceptions:
- Anonymized, aggregated usage metrics that can no longer be linked to you
- Billing records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years)
- Security audit logs referencing your account ID, retained for 30 days and then purged
